Airbus A380 – The Future of Flight Today
Double-Decker aircraft
The airbus A380 is a double-decker, four engine aircraft; it is the largest passenger
airline in the world and can carry up to 853 passengers. The upper deck extends along the whole fuselage with 50% more floor space than the second largest airliner the Boeing 747-400. The height of the aircraft is equivalent to an eight-storey building.
Reduce the effects of fatigue
The noise level on the Airbus A380 is significantly lower than a usual aircraft, within the cabin it is a lot quieter which will increase the comfort of the passenger and the working conditions of the crew as the flight deck is the quietest in the sky. There is also higher cabin pressure and the air is less dry, which will also reduce the effects of fatigue amongst passengers.
Increased knee and legroom
The economy class in the airbus A380 is comparable to business class in other airlines; there are three classes available on this airliner, Economy, Business and First class.
There is increased knee and legroom and every seat is fitted with an LCD screen where you can watch the latest film and play games, there are also different light settings which makes sleeping time a lot more comfortable. Business class have seats that can be reclined and made into a bed that has direct access to the aisle plus a large personal TV screen with computer and business software.
Maximum comfort
Every single detail of this aircraft has been designed for maximum comfort. The inside of the Airbus A380 looks more like a hotel lounge and recreation area than it does an aircraft cabin, with state of the art designs and room for bars, duty free shops and beauty salons, when flying on the Airbus A380 the journey will be as good as the holiday itself.
